Tree pruning involves the removing of selected branches to meet our client’s needs, some examples include:
Tree Removal can be done in two ways
Dismantle – Using ropes and other various equipment we would rigged the tree down carefully ensuring anything surrounding areas i.e. houses, greenhouse or sheds are protected during the dismantle.
Felling – If the area permits it, we would be able to use professional felling techniques to ensure the tree is dropped in a safe manner.
The stump is removed by using a specialised machine called a stump grinder. Unlike traditional stump removal methods that involve digging out the entire stump, stump grinding focuses on grinding the stump down to below ground level. This process effectively turns the stump into small wood chips, allowing for easy disposal or repurposing.

What is a Tree Preservation Order (TPO)?
A Tree Preservation Order is an order made by a local planning authority in England to protect specific trees, groups of trees or woodlands in the interests of amenity. Before any work is carried out on a TPO’d tree an application must be made to the local authority in which it falls under, at Rob’s Tree Care we can assist or complete the application on your behalf.
What is a Conservation Area?
A Conservation Area is essentially a blanket TPO protecting all trees bigger than 75mm in diameter within that area and requires an application made to the local authority to have work carried out on any tree meeting that criteria, again, at Rob’s Tree Care we can assist or complete the application on your behalf.
